About Chiwawa

What happens when a beloved actor chops his long locks off at the same time a huge restaurant chain is advertising their products using a skinny, tiny little dog?  Chiwawa Jabbins happens!  In 1998, John Dye cut his fabulous long hair.  For JABB this left the question: what happened to that hair?  Well, Audrey devised a story in which John's hair was shorn because it witnessed a crime and had to be placed in witness protection.  And where was it sent you ask?  Why to Chiwawa, a cold, hairless lil dog living in Northern Ireland, of course!  And thus in Newsletter 2, our Chiwawa is first mentioned.  In Newsletter 12 he became JABB's mascot and he's the lil fellow whose picture you find on the main TOC and in other areas of the web site.  Now for a bit of Chiwawa's history.

When Dyeland was founded, Chiwawa Jabbins relocated there.  We can assume he was royally spoiled not only because he's a talking dog thus making him quite the novelty but also because, duh, he has John's hair.  Unfortunately for him, Kiwi was not as loving and set out to enjoy Chiwawa as dinner.  Thankfully, she didn't get her way and Chiwawa was reunited with his long lost love, Chimama whom Kiwi kept captive.  You can read all about this sordid lil story in Newsletter 28.  In Newsletter 39 he and Chimama wed.  They now parent their brood of six puppies.  Their sons: JayJay, Chanders, and Vee.  And their daughters: Annie, ChaCha, and Chacita.  And that's the story of Chiwawa.  He still shows up in JABB Newsletters and on the Yahoogroup on occasion, usually to do something mischevious!
