The Who
am I Interview
By
Yvette Jessen
I
did not think up these questions, I borrowed them from some random
internet interview. But since you decided to click on who I am,
you’re about to get a some rather weirdo questions and answers from
yours truly. Get to know me...and I dare you read all the way
through this.
If
you could only see one color in the world what would it be?
Probably
white, because if it’s light it contains all the other colors.
What
country do you live in?
Germany
Craziest
thing you have ever done?
Move
to Germany. ;) No seriously, I would say fly Aeroflot in
1992 from Kazan back to Moscow and live to tell about it. That
was pretty insane if you ask me.
What
is your preferred method of travel?
Flying
(I married a pilot.)
What
obscure fact about you will people find intriguing?
That
I met and married my email penpal in 1995 before the Internet was
really a big deal.
What
is your Favorite Ice Cream?
Chocolate
chip or mocha.
Why
are you so weird?
Ask
my husband. Teehee.
What
languages do you speak?
English
and German, with some Russian and a tiny bit of Spanish.
Which
chocolate company do you like the most?
Niedereggar
(Marzipan company out of Lübeck) and the Wonka candy bars my friend
sent me earlier this year, so it’s a toss up between those two.
Top
thing on your To Do list
Probably
write, and cuddle with my husband.
Best
story:
Hopefully,
one of mine.
Single
or taken?
Taken.
Where
do you want to travel next?
Probably
Ireland or Ontario Canada.
Do
you want a man to be on your roof?
If
it’s Andrew or Adam, I would not mind, otherwise, I might freak out.
Do
you have or want any pets?
No
pets, just bears. I used to have a cat though, but after he
passed on, I couldn’t find it in my heart to get anymore cats. If
I could though, I’d adopt a bunny.
What
is your favorite number?
42
(Direct reference to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, where 42 is the
infinite answer to every question)
What
is your favorite word?
Teehee.
Is that a word?
Do
you ever wonder why Smurfette was the only female Smurf?
I
sort of pondered that and the fact that she was created by Gargamel, so
that is just too weird for me. But, I still liked them when I was
a kid and think they are pretty cute today too.
Do
you write fan fiction?
Do
fish swim? You bet I do. Jenni even made me my own little
section here. Wasn’t that nice of her to do that? So, all
that I can say to that is happy reading.
Do
you follow the same religion as your parents?
Not
hardly, my religious background is as colorful as a quilt. It
would take years for me to go into it, so I’ll just say I’m Unity and
leave it at that.
Why
did the chicken cross the road?
I
think, he was trying to get away from Tess who couldn’t catch up with
the turkey on Thanksgiving.
Do
you write with correct or almost correct grammar? Why or why not?
I
most certainly do. Why? Because the written word is a sign
of one’s intelligence, and while I may seem a bit off my rocker, I
would never want to write something and make people think that I’m not
rowing with all my oars in the water. Correct grammar is
essential!
What
genre of literature do you like the most?
Hard
call, depends on my mood. At times I like fantasy, other times I
like romance, and sometimes I’ll even read stuff on psychology or
spirituality. I can’t narrow it down to just one, but recently I
have also taken a liking to autobiographies / biographies.
Who
is your favorite author?
Hard
one there, in this universe I really like Nicole’s stuff, Jenni’s is
also good, and some Charlie and the Chocolate Factory writers are also
quite alright too. As far as published writers, it shifts around.

de Burgh.

generally.
