New to JABB?

Hello! We're glad you found us! Before you start exploring our pages, we'd appreciate it if you'd peruse this page. In addition, our FAQ may also be of help to you. The FAQ largely deals with questions specific to the John/Andrew Bucket Brigade and its membership. This page, however, was created to deal with some of the misconceptions people seem to have about JABB. Namely, it's connection (or lack thereof, really) to John Dye or any one involved with "Touched by an Angel." Hopefully, with this page, some of those questions will be answered with out people having to wait for an email response from me. If your question is not addressed here or on the FAQ you are more than welcome to contact me.

1. Question: Are you John Dye or do you know John Dye?
Answer: Despite repeated statements on these pages in the negative, I do still get this question. So... No, I'm a 20-something female secretarial-sort and not a 40-something male actor. I have never met, spoken to, or had any contact with Mr. Dye. Neither have any of my past JABB co-presidents or current co-moderators and co-authors.

2. Question: Does John Dye know about this or does he ever participate?
Answer: We do not know for sure either way if he knows about JABB. It has been listed on the Touched.com links page for some time so we suppose it's possible he has or had knowledge of JABB. If he has ever participated in any way then we did not realize it. We would be very surprised to learn this had happened.

3. Question: Do you know if John Dye is currently dating/married?
Answer: We have absolutely no knowledge of John Dye's personal life. We consider it exactly that. *Personal.*

4. Question: Can you get this message to Mr. Dye?
Answer: We haven't the slightest idea how to contact him and would never make any effort to make contact. And we will not post messages to him of a personal nature on JABB in hopes he will see them.

5. Question: I just learned of Charles Rocket's suicide. Why did he kill himself?
Answer: Charles Rocket played Adam, the original angel of death on "Touched by an Angel." Sadly, he committed suicide in October of 2005. We did create a tribute page for him which you can view here. Other tributes followed and can be found by glancing through our TOCs. They are all labelled as CABBs.
Our prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. That being said, neither myself nor anyone I know knew him. I haven't the slightest idea why he took his life. Further, I don't think it's any of my business. I will be more than happy to discuss memories of Adam or Mr. Rocket's other roles with you but please do NOT ask me this question. I have no answers for you and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

6. Question: What's next professionally for former TBAA cast members?
Answer: We wish we knew but we don't. No one I know of has advance knowledge of their career decisions. You can keep an eye on their profiles at IMDB.com, Touched.com might post updates, and you check out some of the cast members' web sites listed on the Touched Links section of that page. That's all we can do, too.

7. Question: I want to join JABB. How do I do that?
Answer: This is a question I can answer! :-) We'd love to have you join us. All JABB members receive our biweekly "newsletter."
