2025

March 19th, 2025- So... I'm in the midst of a blizzard so to distract myself I added JABB 694 and 695 and updated the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, Cultural References and the JABB Story Index.

March 13th, 2025- I added JABB 692 and 693 and updated the Encyclopedia... both parts.

March 6th, 2025- I finally admitted defeat and split the Encyclopedia into two parts.  The link to the second part is at the top of the existing page (J-Z).  It's not ideal but the best work-around I had.  Anyway, I added JABB 690 and 691 and updated The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, Cultural References and the JABB Story Index.

January 3rd, 2025- And this morning I added JABB 688 and 689 and updated the Encyclopedia and the The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

January 2nd, 2025- Oh wow.  I always feel like I just updated the site a few weeks ago only to discover it's been four months!  In any case, the following have been added to the Encyclopedia: JABB 682 and 683.  Cultural References was also updated.  Hopefully I'll get to more over my lunch break.  And that ended up including JABB 684, 685, 686, and 687. 
The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and the JABB Story Index got updated, too.

2024

August 31st- Added JABB 680 and 681 and updated the Encyclopedia.

August 25th- Added JABB 674, 675, 676, and 677 and updated the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and the JABB Story Index.  Came back to add 678 and 679. 

May 21st- Added JABB 669, 670, 671, 672, and 673 and updated the Encyclopedia.

March 10th- Updated JABB 667 and 668 and the Encyclopedia and the JABB Story Index.

February 22nd- I added JABB 665 and 666 and updated the Encyclopedia and the The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

February 20th- At long last I updated the JABB Calendar which led to tweaking the Characters' Birth Dates & More List. Hopefully this way I won't commit a Stranger Things's style error in which characters completely ignore another character's established birthday or anniversary.  :-)

February 1st- The Dyeland Map has maybe not been updated since 2015 except for minor edits so... I finally looked at every last city and island and updated descriptions that were outdated.  I didn't update any of the supporting materials (like the FAQ) yet.

January 27th- I updated Characters' Name Meanings and the Characters' Birth Dates & More List.  It was long overdue!

January 25th- I added JABB 663 and 664 and updated the Encyclopedia. 

January 21st- I finally finished adding information from "The Advocate" to the Encyclopedia and the The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  And then I got Cultural References updated, too.

January 12th- I added JABB 661 and 662 and updated the Encyclopedia. 

2023
November 2nd- I added JABB 655, 656, and 657 and updated the Encyclopedia.  And then over lunch I added JABB 658, 659, and 660.

August 8th-Added JABB 649, 650, and 651 to the Encyclopedia.  Later in the day, I added JABB 652, 653, and 654.

May 30th-Added JABB 647 and 648 to the Encyclopedia.

May 23rd- Insomnia=adding JABB 644, 645, and 646 and updating the Encyclopedia.

May 9th- So there was a whole thing with the JABB web host company and a billing change I made that I didn't realize was going to knock out the JABB Portal.  Basically, turns out I was paying a monthly fee for just that one single web page because it used a product they ended up making a premium product... it wasn't when I first started using it.  Anyway...  I had to recreate the JABB Portal and update every last link to it which was a few hundred pages.  Thus, I'm only now getting back on track with regular updates.  So... I added JABB 643 and then updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and the JABB Story Index accordingly.

April 2nd- I added JABB 642 and updated the Encyclopedia.

March 7th- I added JABB 640 and 641 and updated the Encyclopedia.

January 14th- I'm one newsletter away from being completely caught up for the first time in who knows how long!  JABB 639 has been added and I updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

January 12th-  JABB 638 has been added and I updated the Encyclopedia.  I've also started this page: Dyeland Stories Pets.  So hopefully I don't forget anyone's dog again!

January 6th-  Moving right along!  I added "Panic Day" and "The Promise" to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

January 5th- Newsletters are so much quicker to add than stories!  JABB 630, 631, and 632 are up and listed on the
Encyclopedia now.  Added then I added JABB 633, 634, 635, and 636 during my lunch break.  And then JABB 637 after work plus I added a mice entry to the Encyclo... because they deserve one.

January 4th- Woo hoo!  I added "The Lost Sheep" to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Characters' Name Meanings and the Characters' Birth Dates & More List were also updated.  I still have several newsletters to add but they take much less time.  Very excited that my staycation next week isn't going to be constant web site updating, though! 

2022

December 22nd-Hi there!  It's been a while but I'm finally getting around to adding "The Shepherd" to the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Biblical Era Characters and the Characters' Birth Dates & More List were also updated.  This may or may not be my final update of the year because I'm busy writing.  I have a week of vacation in January and hope to get caught up on page updates then so I can start the new year off right!  In the meantime, the newsletters are still getting emailed out every two weeks.  I'm just struggling to find time to then link them up properly on the web site.  So if you'd like to be added to the newsletter distribution list, please contact me.  Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!!

September 17th- I added JABB 627, 628, and 629 and updated the Encyclopedia. 

July 29th- And continuing on!  I added JABB 623, 624, 625, and 626 and updated the Encyclopedia.  I'm gonna stop there since only the newsletters from this month are left.  Yay!
 
July 28th- Three stories later... I'm finally trying to get caught up here.  So at some point JABB 616 was added.  Not sure when but that's good.  This morning I added JABB 617, 618, and 619 and updated the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  And in the afternoon I added 620, 621, and 622.

March 7th- Thanks to a snow day, I added JABB 613, 614, and 615 and updated the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

February 20th- Finally finished proofing "A Thousand Years" and updated the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

January 30th- I added JABB 609, 610, 611, and 612 and updated the Encyclopedia.  The next update will take a while as I have two stories to go through... one of which is quite lengthy.

January 29th, 2022- And I think this is quite possibly the most behind I've ever been with this web site!  But I hope to start remedying that today.  I added JABB 606, 607, and 608 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

October 23rd- I added JABB 602, 603, 604, and 605 and updated the Encyclopedia, JABB Story Index, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

September 6th- And I've managed to get massively behind yet again.  But here's hoping I can spend at least a chunk of this Labor Day catching up so...  Thus far, I've added JABB 598, 599, and 600 and updated the Encyclopedia.

February 28th- Finally added info from "When the West Wind Moves," "Flowers Never Bend," and "You'll Never Walk Alone" to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Apparently I already did for "At Last" which I do not recall...

February 8th- Added JABB 586 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, JABB Story Index, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

January 25th- I sent a newsletter yesterday with a tutorial of the JABB site and, as I wrote that, I tweaked several pages including: Welcome Newbies, Things You Should Know..., the FAQ, the Self-Help Page, and Useful Links.  I also added a link to our Jigsaw Puzzles to Fun and Games.  Throughout the web site, I marked pages as archived if they're ones I think unlikely to be updated in the future.
January 23rd- I did some tweaking to the Dyeland Stories Portal, namely adding a link to Characters' Name Meanings and also re-ordering some links.  Seemed weird that, originally, the Author's Cut was listed first when I seldom use it any more.  The Family Trees also got updated.

January 21st- So... I did a fair amount of therapeutic writing during the whole pandemic/civil unrest period.  And now you can see that on the JABB Story Index.  "At Last," "When the West Wind Moves," and "Flowers Never Bend" are all in that category and largely just Andrew and JenniAnn being schmaltzy because that's my written version of comfort food.  "You'll Never Walk Alone," however, is a story I intended to write even before the pandemic.  So that's a more typical, full-length story.  None of them have been documented on the Timeline or Encyclopedia yet but I'll get to that eventually.

January 16th- Added JABB 584 and 585 then updated the Encyclopedia.

November 19th- Added JABB 581, 582, and 583 then updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, JABB Story Index, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  All caught up on web page updates!

November 17th- Added JABB 580 and updated the Encyclopedia.

November 16th- Updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline with info from "God in the Gloom."  JABB 579 was also added.

October 21st- Added JABB 576 and 577 and updated the Encyclopedia.  Also updated JABB 578 and
The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline. 

September 21st- Added JABB 574 and 575 and updated the Encyclopedia and Cultural References.

September 19th- Added JABB 572 and 573 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  The JABB Story Index was also updated.

August 13th- I redid some of the Dyeland Castle/Willowveil blueprints.  This whole time, I've written stories in which the second floor is flipped from what the blueprint used to show.  Oops.  So now it's correct.

August 9th- Added JABB 571 and updated the Encyclopedia.

July 27th- JABB 569 and 570 have been added and the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline updated.

June 1st- JABB 566, 567, and 568 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

April 19th- JABB 565 has been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

April 16th- I updated the JABB Story Index a while ago but forgot to upload it.  It's there now!

April 11th- JABB 564 has been added and the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline updated.

April 7th- JABB 562 and 563 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

March 30th- And this evening I got the "The Messiah" and JABB 559 works cited added to Cultural References.

March 29th- At long last, "The Messiah" and JABB 559, 560, and 561 have been added to the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Adding material from one story?  Time consuming.  Adding material from two?  Insane-making.

January 19th- Time to play catch-up!  JABB 554, 555, 556, 557, and 558 have been added.  The Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline were also updated.  I also added quite a bit of info to the vital stats PDF.

October 10th- And now every last, currently written newsletter is added and on the Encyclopedia.  JABB 549, 550, 551, 552, and 553 are added.  I'm caught up... for now!

October 1st- And I'm getting closer to caught up!  JABB 547 and 548 are up and the Encyclopedia is updated.

September 30th- Eeek.  I've been writing and have gotten really, really behind with everything else web site-wise.  But, finally, I'm back to add JABB 544, 545, and 546 and get the Encyclopedia updated.

June 10th- JABB 542 and 543 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

May 27th- JABB 540 and 541 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

April 22nd- I updated the Dyeland vital stats PDF because it was way out of date!

April 13th- I added JABB 539 and then updated the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

April 7th- JABB 537 and 538 have been added and the JABB Story Index, Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline updated.

February 20th- Thanks to a snow day, I was able to add JABB 534 and 535 and get the Encyclopedia updated, too.  And JABB 536, too!  I'm caught up with the newsletters!

February 10th- I added the "Remembrance" info to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  I also got the Author's Cut updated.

February 3rd- I added JABB 533 and updated the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  I didn't get totally caught up during my break... but I got close.

February 2nd- And I'm getting ever closer to being caught up!  JABB 531 and 532 have been added and the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline updated accordingly.

February 1st- Today I added "Sunshine and Snow" and updated the related pages including the
JABB Story Index.

January 31st- In between dealing with a mouse infestation and taking down Christmas decorations, I finally got "Broken Hallelujahs" added to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References pages.

January 27th- I wrote a Dyeland story, "Remembrance," in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day.  It was inspired by a visit I made to the U.S. Holocaust Museum in October. 



December 15th-I added JABB 529 and 530 and got them on the Encyclopedia. So I'm caught up on the newsletters, at least!

December 14th- I'm desperately trying to catch up so I added JABB 523-527 to the Encyclopedia.  And also JABB 528.

December 10th- And this morning I got the story info onto Cultural References.

December 9th- I added the story "Immortality" to the Author's Cut and got its info onto the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  

December 8th- And I'm back... having not really gone any where.  I ended up putting myself in the position of having to write three stories in four months or else come to the annual Christmas story with characters married, born, popping in, etc. without any explanation.  Thankfully, I finished the last of those three stories this past week so... I can finally get back to updating this site.  It's going to take me a while to get caught up, however.  For right now, JABB 521 and 522 are added.

August 12th- JABB 520 is up and the Encyclopedia is updated.

August 4th- JABB 518 and 519 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated.

July 13th- JABB 517 has been added and the related updates done.  Maybe my dog will let me sleep in tomorrow!

July 10th- At least my dog waking me up at 3:30 AM daily is serving a purpose...  JABB 515 and 516 have been added and pages updated accordingly.

July 9th- Time to start playing catch-up!  I added JABB 513 and 514 and updated the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.

May 6th- I had to adjust a date in "Cupid and Psyche," which I now realize I never even got onto the Author's Cut until just now, due to an error.  The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline has also been tweaked.

April 29th-After some trouble with junky HTML code, I got JABB 510 added and the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References pages updated.  I added JABB 511 and 512 a bit later.

March 25th- JABB 507, 508, and 509 were added.  The Encyclopedia was also updated.

January 23rd- I had a snow day yesterday so I added JABB 506.  The Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References pages have also been updated.

January 21st- Second update of the new year!  ;-)  I added JABB 504 and JABB 505 and updated the Encyclopedia.

January 14th- First update of the new year!  I added JABB 502 and JABB 503 and their content to the Encyclopedia and Cultural References pages.


 
November 19th-Not gonna get so behind again!  Added JABB 501 to the Encyclopedia.

November 4th- Yay!  I did it.  JABB 498, 499, and 500 are up and noted on the Encyclopedia. 

November 2nd- I wanted to get caught up here but no such luck between dogs and computer issues.  But I did add JABB 494, 495, 496, and 497 and put related info on the Encyclopedia.  It's a start!

August 20th- I added JABB 492 and 493 and put their material on the Encyclopedia and Cultural References pages.

July 3rd- JABB 488 and 489 have been added and the Encyclopedia updated accordingly.  I hope to get another couple done... Internet connection and dogs and weather allowing.  Got JABB 490 added despite dogs fretting over fireworks...  And JABB 491!

May 21st- I added JABB 486 and 487 and updated the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, JABB Story Index, and Cultural References pages.

April 23rd- At long last, I returned to the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  I used a new program so it was a bit experimental.  In any case, "Song for My Father" snaps are now Hallmark logo free!

April 6th- And now JABB 483, 484, and 485 are on the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References pages.

April 2nd- At long last, I was able to get info from Kim's latest onto the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.

February 12th- Yay!  Another story!  Kim's "These are My Dreams" has been added to the "Author's Cut."

February 10th-What do you do when your dog wakes you up way too early?  Get caught up on your web site.  As of right now, all newsletters are online (and on a new TOC) and the Encyclopedia is up-to-date.

February 4th- I updated the Encyclopedia, JABB Story Index, and Cultural References with info from "Chrysalis,"  "Sinners and Saints," and N479.  Timeline update to come tomorrow... I hope!  ETA: It took me longer than I'd hoped but The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline is good to go.

January 16th- I added JABB 478 and updated the Encyclopedia.

January 14th- First update of 2017!  Thus, we have a new year button.  I was in an Andrew-in-glasses mood.  Anyway, Pia's "Sinners and Saints" has been added to the "Author's Cut."

December 26th- Slowly but surely, I'm catching up.  I added JABB 474, 475, and 476 and updated the Encyclopedia.  Later, I got to JABB 477, too.

December 22nd- Finally!  I finished my story about human trafficking and you can find it here: "Chrysalis."  Also, we've had yet another great colonial research find submitted to Comments on “For Thou Art With Me."

November 6- Loads of updates today!  JABB 470, 471, 472, and 473/CABB 24 were added.  The Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, JABB Story Index, and Cultural References were then updated accordingly.

September 3rd- Added JABB 466 to the Encyclopedia?  Check.  JABB 467?  Check.  468?  Yep.  469?  Good to go.  Experienced earthquake?  Yes...  In Nebraska...  So how was your morning?  ;-)  

July 23rd- And now JABB 465 and its info is on the Encyclopedia, too.

July 22nd- I added JABB 463 and 464 then updated the Encyclopedia.

May 21st- I added JABB 460, 461 and 462 to the Encyclopedia and Cultural References. 

May 15th- I added Kim's "And Then There Were Four" to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References. 

April 10th- Added JABB 456 and 457 info to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.  And then I added JABB 458 and 459 because I want to focus on writing and being caught up here helps!

March 20th- Happy Spring!  Kim's latest, "And Then There Were Four," has been added to the Author's Cut Part 7. 

March 1st- And now I've added JABB 455 to the site and Encyclopedia so back to writing for a bit.

February 29th- Tonight I got JABB 454 onto the site and Encyclopedia.

February 28th- Took a break from writing to add JABB 453 to the site and Encyclopedia.

January 31st- Way overdid it with "Nightingale" snaps on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  But it's John's birthday and I was relieved after thinking my snapping program was done for so oh well!  I was so relieved that I proceeded to cap "As It Is In Heaven."  Way fewer pics.  Only three more left!
January 10th- Actually got around to watching TBAA!  Redid "A Time for Every Purpose" on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.

January 7th-I decided Dyeland Stories needed some Family Trees.  More to come, I'm sure!

January 3rd- And now I've finished adding JABB 452 to the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Biblical Era Characters also got tweaked.

2015
December 31st- So as not to start 2016 overwhelmed, I'll be adding the Christmas story info to the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline in bits and pieces.  Info has been added to Cultural References.  Happy New Year!

December 28th-Added JABB 451 stuff to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.

December 27th-Added JABB 449 and JABB 450 info the Encyclopedia.  That also meant starting up TOC 16.  Also did some tweaking with the JABB Calendar and vital stats PDF.

December 26th-I hope folks had a merry Christmas!  Loads of snow here so no excuse to not start getting caught up on updating.  "Glad Tidings Part II" info is on the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.

December 21st- Whew.  After taking a long break to focus on the Christmas story, I'm back.  I added JABB 448 to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.

November 9th- Took some doing but I redid "Root of Evil" on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery and the Adam Photo Gallery.  My program was NOT cooperating so apologies for any duplicate and/or blurry snaps. 

November 8th- Added "Forever and Always" to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.

November 2nd- Kim's "Glad Tidings Part II" is now on the Author's Cut Part 7.  And yippee!  I finally got back to the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  I redid the "Private Eyes" snaps which means there are only 7 more episodes with dratted THC logos.  I ended up going back to my old puter to screen cap and since I now have it set up again, I will hopefully get to those 7 much more quickly that I have been.  I also added JABB 447/CABB 23 to the Encyclopedia.

October 24th-Turns out I missed a lot of non-canonical stories when I put together the JABB Story Index so I added those in. 

October 22nd- And my relationship trilogy comes to a close with "Forever and Always" which is now on the Author's Cut Part 7.

October 9th- JABB 444/CABB 22, "Crumbling Walls," JABB 445, "Triad," and JABB 446 material has been added to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References as appropriate.  Which means for one whole day I get to enjoy being caught up with those pages!

September 18th- "Triad," a story about Adam, Kylie, and Clay, has been added to the Author's Cut Part 7.

September 12th- "Crumbling Walls" by Pia has been added to the Author's Cut Part 7.  It features Eilish's and Samuel's latest adventures!  I also added "Hope" info to the Encyclopedia.

September 11th- Added "Hope" material to The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.  JABB Calendar and vital stats PDF updated.

September 10th-I'm hoping to get caught up on adding newsletters and story info so I can really focusing on writing.  For today, I have JABB 442 and 443 up and on the Encyclopedia and Cultural References.  Ditto for "Midsummer" material.

August 27th- Added more dates to the JABB Calendar.

August 26th- Added a story entitled "Hope and Healing" to the Author's Cut Part 7.

August 25th- At long last... "Shadowlands" stuff is on the The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and the Encyclopedia.  Got JABB 439, 440, and 441 info added, too.

August 17th- Pia's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" has been added to the Author's Cut Part 7.

July 22nd- I added "The Christmas Watch" DVD snaps to the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.

July 19th- Happy anniversary, JABB!!!  "Remembering Me, Part 2" has been updated on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  Unfortunately, the transfer to wide screen seems to have chopped off the top of Andrew's/John's hair in several shots.  Boo.

June 27th- Added JABB 436 and 437 and updated the Encyclopedia... which, unfortunately, has a bunch of junk code so I'm trying to fix that.  "The Story of Eilish" info also got added there and to The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.

June 26th- And now the "Morning" info is on the Encyclopedia, too.

June 22nd-  Redid "Bring on the Rain" on TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  "Morning Has Broken" info has been added to The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and Cultural References.

June 14th-  I added "Jump!" snaps to TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery. These are the first from my new puter.  Not sure about it...

June 7th- Kim's "Glad Tidings" and my "Shadowlands" have been added to the Author's Cut Part 7.

June 6th-  On a roll!  I redid the "Feather on the Breath of God" snaps on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.

May 30th- Since I'd been working on it a bit, I decided it was high time the Dyeland Map and related pages be brought more in line with Dyeland as it currently appears in stories.  I got rid of things like the shopping mall that there's no possible way the Dyelanders would be able to sustain (nor three different candy shops).  So changes like that.  I didn't remove the homes of inactive characters unless they'd been entirely absent for 5 or more years.  I also added JABB 434 and 435 then updated the Encyclopedia.  And, finally, at long last... "The Word" snaps are redone on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.

May 29th- Pia has another story, "Samuel's Prayer," on the Author's Cut Part 7.  And, for the first time in quite a while, the Dyeland Map has been updated.  Eilish's island home is added along with Joshua's gazebo... finally!

May 24th-I've been working on a lengthy story and realized I had one of the characters reference something that woulda seemed to come outta no where to anyone who isn't privy to my longterm story plans.  So... I wrote a lil story to fill-in-the-blanks: "A Graduation Surprise."  Also, stories will be placed on the Author's Cut Part 7 going forward.

May 21st- Introducing... Guidelines for Writing Dyeland Stories.

May 17th- We have another writer among us!  Pia's tale, "The Story of Eilish", has been added to the Author's Cut Part 6!

May 11th- Apparently updating this web site is what I do whilst waiting for the plumber...  I just did some minor tweaking on web pages that were done in a font I no longer have and the substituted font was too small.  If you're ever reading a story and find yourself squinting, please let me know.  That's probably what happened.  I now have all of Kim's tales properly listed on Kemara's Stories and the JABB Story Index is also updated.  I also added JABB 433 and updated the Encyclopedia.

April 27th- "Morning Has Broken," by Kim, is available on the Author's Cut Part 6!

April 19th- I added JABB 431 and 432 and updated the Encyclopedia and Cultural References.

March 29th- And today I added info from "Here is My Heart" to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.

March 28th- I added info from "The Never-Ending Road" to the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.

March 22nd- I updated the JABB Calendar to include all established characters' birth dates and anniversaries.  The vital stats PDF was also updated and reorganized so people are sort of grouped together by family/association.

March 18th- I added JABB 428, 429, and 430 and updated the Encyclopedia, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Cultural References.  Also added two new stories by Kim to the Author's Cut Part 6!  And added "Friend of My Soul" info.

March 1st-I added JABB 427 and updated Cultural References and Encyclopedia.

February 28th- I added a new story, "Friend of My Soul," to the Author's Cut Part 6.

February 4th-Thanks to a second snow day, I got JABB 426 added and the Cultural References, Encyclopedia, and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet updated.  I also added some memory jogs to all the Bible references on Cultural References.

February 2nd-Thanks to a snow day, I got JABB 425 added and the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet updated.

January 27th- Kim and I have been working on... this.  Now you can follow the goings on of the Dyelanders and their friends even when we're not posting stories!  :-)

January 18th-I'm giving the site a new look!  From now on, this will be the main access point: JABB Portal.  The Main TOC will remain although likely I won't keep it updated.

January 16th-And now I'm caught up with Cultural References, too!  Also, I was about 3 stories behind on links on Kemara's Stories so that's fixed now.  I also added JABB 424 and updated the related pages.

January 15th- At long last, I'm caught up!  Although I always lag a handful of newsletters behind (by design), the other stories, now including "A Stor Mo Chroi," are on the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Probably this weekend I'll also add material to Cultural References but that's way less of a time investment so I'm happy!  Also, I'm retiring the old (undetailed) timeline since it's just not particularly useful and it's a pain to update two.

January 11th-Yippee!  "The King" info is now on the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Ditto for JABB 423 material.  And stuff from "New Beginnings"!

January 7th- Yay!  I finished getting "The Carpenter" information added to the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Ditto for "Someone who Urgently Needs a Shelf."  I started adding info from "The King."

December 28th-While I can't even begin to predict when I'll be done, I've started adding "The Carpenter" information to the Encyclopedia and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  I'll post here when I'm done.  After I've gotten caught up with that and the stories that follow it, I hope to get back to my weekly episode reviews.

October 5th- There's a new addition to "The Carpenter's Stories"!  While I'm still working on "The King," Heather has finished a lovely story entitled "Someone who Urgently Needs a Shelf."  Check it out!  If I were following my usual routine, I'd have added "The Carpenter" info to the appropriate pages first but... since it's so long, I think that'll have to wait.  So I skipped to adding JABB 416 and JABB 417/CABB 20 info to
the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.

September 20th- Happy birthday to Andrew!  I added JABB 414 and JABB 415 and then updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.

August 16th- I updated the JABB Story Index and also added a special cast and crew only program to "The Carpenter's Stories".

August 13th- Redid "Two Sides to Every Angel" on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery. 

August 10th- Added JABB 413 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.  I also did some tweaking on The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

July 27th- Added JABB 412 and updated the Encyclopedia.

July 26th- Snaps from "The 16th Minute" have been updated on the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery. 

July 21st- At long last... I've started redoing the TBAA Season 9 Photo Gallery.  "A Rock and a Hard Place" has been updated.

July 20th-I added a section called "The Carpenter's Stories" to the Author's Cut... because I *finally* finished "The Carpenter."  Added JABB 411 and updated the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.  Also, some of the older stories had some naming issues (Joshua referring to Yosef as Joseph, for example) so I fixed those.

June 23rd- Now I'm caught up!  Added JABB 410 and updated the Encyclopedia.

June 21st- At long last, another update!  Still working on my story but just couldn't deal with feeling so behind here.  So...  Added JABB 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, and 409 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and the Dyeland Timeline.

May 17th- Hi!  I'm still here.  My "little" writing project morphed into a 600 page plus behemoth so... still working on that.  I'm now hoping to be finished by the second week in June.  But I really wanted to update the page so...  JABB 403 has been added and the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet updated.  I'm going to continue with hiatus on the photos and episode reviews.

March 9th- Yay!  Finished redoing the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery with the addition of "Forever Young" snaps.  I'm now going on hiatus with both Photo Gallery and Episode Guide updates til after Holy Week.  It's not a Lenten sacrifice or anything like that!  Giving TBAA stuff up for Lent seems odd...  ;-)  Just busy!

March 8th-Added "To Love Another Person" and JABB 402 material to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

December 26th- I'm trying to get up to JABB 400 by the New Year so... I added JABB 398 and updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.  Also added JABB 399.  Just one story away from my goal.  :-)  And I did it!  Material from "The Truth" is now on all the appropriate pages.

December 25th- Had a lovely time with family and am now unwinding with Christmas music and getting "A Winter Carol" updated on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery. Merry Christmas!  Later, I added JABB 397 and
updated the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline accordingly.  Material from "Shelter from the Storm" has also been added.  

December 22nd- Updated "Angels Anonymous" on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery. 

December 15th- "When Sunny Gets Blue" snaps are on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery. 

December 13th- I added a story called "The Truth" to the Author's Cut Part 6. Monica has something she needs to tell Arthur on Thanksgiving night.

December 11th- Added JABB 396 and updated the Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.  The rest to come later!  And I did get to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, and The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

December 8th-For the first time ever, I think, I did some "housecleaning" with the Map of Dyeland so there's room to grow on Asteri and Ilios as needed.  Gorgeous field shots (and more) from "Heaven's Portal" are now on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery sans THC logos!

November 30th- DVD snaps from "Most Likely to Succeed" are on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery.  Happy St. Andrew's Day!

November 25th- Added JABB 395 and edited the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.

November 24th- Redid the "Chutzpah" snaps on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery and added more to The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline.

November 19th- Kim wrote a touching piece entitled "Shelter from the Storm" which is now on the Author's Cut Part 6. In her story, Monica and Arthur deal with the emotional aftermath of helping with the recovery effort after Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

November 17th- DVD snaps from "Manhunt" are now on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery.

November 10th- Redid "The Birthday Present" on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery.

November 3rd- Felt like watching another episode so "The Perfect Game" is redone on the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery.

November 2nd-Added "The Coffee Summit" info to the Encyclopedia, Cultural References, The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline, and the regular Dyeland Timeline.  And I'm restarting with the TBAA Season 8 Photo Gallery and have the "Holy of Holies" gallery redone.

November 1st- Well, I wanted to feel caught up and even ahead of the game with *something* so I added JABB 393 and JABB 394/CABB 19 then edited the Encyclopedia, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and Cultural References accordingly.

October 27th- Added "Shallow Water II" shots so am now done with the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery... for now!  Also added JABB 392 and updated the Encyclopedia, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and Cultural References.

October 20th- Added "Shallow Water I" images to the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery. Also, I've created The (Detailed!) Dyeland Timeline and updated the regular Dyeland Timeline.

October 17th- I feel much better re: Monica after writing "The Coffee Summit" which is now on the Author's Cut Part 6.  Yay!

October 14th- The JABB Story Index, which previously I'd just emailed out when asked, now has a home.  The link will be on the main TOC right under the Author's Cut link in the "Stuff We Wrote or Made" section.

October 12th- Added "Face of God" snaps to the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.  Took way less time than last week!

October 9th- I also added JABB 391/CABB 19 and updated the Encyclopedia (info from "Ivy" is also there now) and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.  And I realized TOC 14 was overdue.

October 6th- I updated "The Sign of the Dove" gallery on the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery which also meant updating the Adam Photo Gallery.  We're not going to talk about how many hours that took...

September 29th- Redid the "Band of Angels" photos on the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.

September 28th- New "The Penalty Box" snaps are on the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery. I also added JABB 390 and updated the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.

September 15th- Added more "Bringer of Light" pics to the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.  Also got to "Winners, Losers, and Leftovers."  And "I Am an Angel."  :-)

August 31st- Well, YahooGroups did a total remodel which meant some of the links on the site to our YahooGroup were no longer working as they should.  So... this necessitated edits to Our FAQ, Contact Info, Welcome Newbies!, and New to JABB?  And I'm still working on this.  If anyone finds a bad YG link, please let me know.  Thanks!  And now I've fixed the Self Help pages.  *That* took way too long.  Useful Links was a quick update, though!  I rewarded myself by playing around with the Graffiti Wall.

August 29th- Did some tweaking on Andrew's Historical Timeline.

August 25th- I added a new story, "Ivy," to the Author's Cut Part 6.  This one deals with bullying, a topic I've wanted to tackle for a good, long time.  And because I skipped a couple weeks, I did double with
 the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery this weekend.  Better shots from "The Grudge"... and a lot of them considering Andrew wasn't in that episode much.  But all those facial expressions!  I'm on a roll and don't wanna stop but I'm thinking the following is it for tonight: I added JABB 387 and updated the Encyclopedia and Easter Egg Cheat Sheet.

August 24th- Added a countdown to TBAA's Season 9 DVD release to News and Reminders.  I'll be going around the site and removing the DVD campaign graphics.  Wow. I added a new city to the Dyeland Map.  It was fun.  :-)  Wow...  I never realized how boring looking the original main TBAA Photo Gallery was.  Now it's better looking.  Much more handsome!  Also added "Reasonable Doubt" to the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.

August 20th- Updated "God Bless the Child" snaps are on the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.


August 12th- "The Empty Chair" DVD caps are on the TBAA Season 7 Photo Gallery.  Added JABB 386 and then updated the Encyclopedia, Easter Egg Cheat Sheet, and Cultural References.

March 11th- Snow day!  So I took some of that free time to add "The Whole Truth..." snaps to the TBAA Season 6 Photo Gallery.  I *think* I'm only 1 episode away from being free of that awful THC turkey graphic.


March 10th- Didn't wanna leave it at that last episode so... "Voice of an Angel" photos are updated on the TBAA Season 6 Photo Gallery. 


March 9th- Somehow ended up with 10 pages of "The Occupant" photos for the TBAA Season 6 Photo Gallery.  See, when I'm working on those is really the only time I let myself listen to CDs or Pandora.  So... sometimes I get carried away and keep capping for more music time.  That seems sad when I type it out!


March 3rd- So...  I added improved "Til Death Do Us Part" snaps to the TBAA Season 6 Photo Gallery.  19 pages worth.  Yikes.

February 24th- So I can be absolutely nutty about maintaining continuity in stories (and TV shows... but I don't control those ;-) and one thing that bothered me in Dyeland stories was Andrew's house.  I had a feeling that stories were contradicting each other on how his house was arranged.  So... I shoulda done this earlier but... Andrew's house's blueprint!  Thanks to the JABB YG members who chimed in on this much-delayed project.  I also did some tweaking on the Dyeland Map.  I had two snow days from work which made me feel like a kid which made playing with fictional maps sound really fun!  Also added "The Letter" DVD snaps to the TBAA Season 6 Photo Gallery.  Finally, I added a story to the Author's Cut Part 6.
